MUSD is proud to welcome Adam Ostmeyer as our new Safety and Security Coordinator. A 2340 Foundation student with deep roots in the district, Adam brings experience, passion, and a strong commitment to keeping our schools safe.

With funding from the Arizona Department of Education's School Safety Program, the Marana Unified School District will add School Safety Officer (SSO) positions at Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8 and Twin Peaks K-8!

Marana Unified School District is piloting a new weapons detection system at Marana High School beginning March 2025, the OPENGATE weapons detection system, which enhances existing security measures.
