Safety and Security Coordinator
Adam Ostmeyer is the Marana Unified School District Safety and Security Coordinator, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community.
With a background in safety and security operations, Adam has dedicated his career to creating environments where students can thrive and learn without worry. His proactive mindset, combined with a passion for education and public service, makes him an invaluable asset to our district.
Adam was born and raised in Marana, and he is a proud graduate of Marana High School. After high school, Adam joined the Army National Guard full-time, serving in global contingency operations, including deployments to Afghanistan and the Middle East, as well as in-state emergency response missions. He recently retired from the military in June 2025.
Prior to joining MUSD, Adam worked for five years as an Intelligence Analyst, supporting local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies with actionable intelligence for investigative efforts. He is currently completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Grand Canyon University, with graduation set for September 2025.
